Also, to the proposition that you should be fully informed as to just how rich and transforming that experience can be. It is your responsibility to enrich your Masonic experience by participating in the activities and resources it offers .
It is not enough to grow spiritually and intellectually through your experiences in Masonry. You are expected to express that growth by being of service to your family, your fellow Masons, their widows, your Lodge and community. In turn, that service brings increased growth and richness to your Masonic experience. Then you too can proudly state that your are: “Not Just A Man, a Mason”TM.
Subdue your passions and improve yourself
A prime purpose you expressed for joining was to learn to subdue your Passions and improve yourself. To paraphrase Plutarch, your mind is not a vessel to be filled, but a fire to be kindled. You should look to Masonry to stoke that fire and provide it with good and wholesome kindling. Masons seek the light, because we are a product of that period in time labelled “The Enlightenment”.

I needed too much assistance to go with a totally free solution. If you have the time, starting with free one will give you a chance to test the waters. The important thing to get started so you can be heard from. WPbeginner has a great set of tutorials and I have had great support from Bluehost.
